{New Year!!!}

First of all, how was everybody's Christmas? Mine was great! Grandpa and Grandma came over, and we sat around like bums all week. =P We also played lots of Uno, golf {with Uno cards}, Pit, word games, Catch Phrase {our all time favorite}, and a new{er} game called Snorta. We laughed so hard!! Grandma cut my sisters hair {she's worked at a beauty shop for a long time}, played with my brother a LOT, and continuously massaged my new lotion into my hands and feet. On the other hand, Grandpa took advantage of having one VERY tech savy girl, and two semi-sorta-kinda tech savy girls around, and had us help him with the new iPod touch he bought. It was pretty awesome. We used face-time to talk to my cousins, too. {who I miss like crazy!} And all of us took advantage of Grandpa's hobby, and watched a bunch of movies that he recorded off of the tv. Like I said, we were bums most of the time. ;-P Here are some pictures I took on Christmas:

I tried to take some of the Christmas tree, with tinsel in front of it, but I couldn't get the angle right, and my camera wouldn't focus right, so this is the best one I got. =( And it's actually...not aweosme. =P

One of the best presents all day (besides the chocolate). A replica of "A REALLY REAL PIRATE GUN!!!!" Mom found it at the thrift store for a couple bucks. SWEET DEAL, EH?

And the other best present: Mom's piggy. We haven't named it yet, but I must admit, it's the cutest pig I ever did see. =P

I had a really good pic of my bro and my grandparents, but it's sideways, and it won't let me rotate it. (grrr...)

I thought it was hilarious (and a little scary) how Dad fell asleep while playing with Seth's gun. It looks like he just shot himself. =P

And as for the meal . . . look at the thanksgiving post, and add ham to it. =P

I was just thinking how fast this year flew by! It seems like it was just Christmas of '09! And now it's 2011! Wow! I must admit, 2010 was not one of the best years I've had, but God really did bless this past year!

I've decided to try and make the best of '11, and even though I know hard times will come along, I have made up my mind to glory in each tribulation {Romans 5:3} and remember that every good and perfect thing is a gift from my heavenly father {James 1:17}.

Many people have been doing a "one word new year's resolution" and although I have many goals for this year, the one word that sums it all up would be
LOVE.
My goal is to increase my love for God, in a way that it cannot be contained, and to let it leak out so others can see it. My love for God should help me to love others, and to show them the love that has been given to me. My love for God should help me be a servant to others, and help me share His good news with the people around me. My love for God should help me become devoted to Him in everything I do, and to give Him the glory whenever I am praised. I have decided that in the year 2011, "my soul shall boast in the Lord, and the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad."

I hope God will bless the year ahead of you! Cling to every moment, because life is just a vapor!

Your sister in Christ,
MEEEEEE!!!! {~Lizzie}

{Offically CEREAL post about school books}

I doubt that made sense. But am I required to make sense?? I am? Are you cereal? That officially stinks. So if I don't make sense, do I have to explain myself?? Ok, I guess I will, then.

Anyway, you know how some girls say "like" ALL THE TIME?? I say it a lot, but I don't do it half as much as other girls. {{Realizes this has NOTHING to do with the subject. Decides to tie it in SOMEHOW.}} One thing I DO say a lot though, is "officially." I don't say, "I need to practice my violin," I say, "I officially need to practice my violin" or istead of "I'm hungry" I'll say "I'm officially hungry." I don't know why, but I do.

And I don't know why I'm telling you this. I guess just so you can know something new about me. =P And as long as you are learning new things about me, you might as well know that a lot of the time, instead of saying "serious" I say "cereal". It's funny to see who doesn't catch it! Some people laugh really hard when I do that, others look at me like I'm off my rocker {which is probably true =P}, and others {such as my best friend} don't even realize I did it. =P

Anyway. Yeah. =P Ok, so I thought this was a little weird, when I was doing my {EIGHTH GRADE} vocabulary, they stuck this in there:
Celery raw develops the jaw, but celery stewed is more quietly chewed.
Ummmm...that sounds like something that would be in my brothers FIRST GRADE reading book. Yeah. Anyway. I thought I'd post. =P ~Lizzie, Rachelle, Karelsey, Mustard, Trademark, Happy Zombie, Erin, Chicken, Cocoa, The Girl With a Million Names, 3D, Zebra, Parrot, Sistahish, Incon, Anne, Angel, Angelica, Marie, Thom{my} ECT, ECT, ECT.
This is why I didn't put "Rachelle," Kendra, because if I do that, I have to do everything else...=P

Tropical Rainforest.

Depends on my mood, and the wildflowers...=P Probably roses, though...I don't know...that's a tough one.
4. How much do you like notebooks? Is it mild, or are you absolutely obsessed with them?
I'm obsessed with them, though not as much as other people {{coughmysistercough}} are.

Wow, that's tough! I LOVE most names! {Except my own, believe it or not...how is it that out of all the names in the word, the ONE name my parents picked for me happens to be one I don't like? Oh, well. =P}
12. Do you like...
boots or sneakers?
Neither.
flats or heels?
Depends on how balanced I am the day I have to choose. I would go for heels today, but two days ago, I would've gone for flats. Is anybody else like that??
books or movies?
Books, probably.
purple or pink?
Purple all the way.
long hair or short hair?
Long Hair
a best friend or a group of friends?
A group of best friends...=P
ice cream or cake?
Ummmm....ice cream, I guess. It depends on the cake and ice cream, though.

Pictures of Thanksgiving

Yesterday, I promised y'all that I would post pictures, so I'll post the few that I got.

First, I took pics of what everybody was doing. I got one of Dad, but I don't think he would want me to put it on here...
Here's my little Indian brother:

Everybody else in the kitchen.

And I tried to put one of me on, but it wouldn't work. =( Oh, well. It was a dorky picture anyway...

Here's all the wonderful food we were blessed with. (including Buckley)

Is it just me, or does that pitcher of ice tea look like hot chocolate? =P Anywho, the timer's going off, and I don't want to burn our pizza. And those are all the good pictures, so goodbye!!! ~Lizzie

Trying. Again. PLEASE WORK, PLEASE, OH PLEASE!

I don't know why I'm doing this. My blog stopped working, and hasn't been putting posts on, but I thought I'd try again, just because all my friends have been begging me to blog. Ok, so two of my friends have been begging me to blog. I bet everybody stopped paying attention to my blog anyway, cuz it's pretty much dead. BUT, if this post WORKS, please comment, AT LEAST say you read it, and tell me something you would like to see me do on here, as long as it keeps working.

On a totally different note, I can now say I've had a 2 - 4 year old robin's nest dropped on my head {thank you, Daddy}. I can also say I have cut my lip with fancy edged scrap booking scissors {thank you, blonde moment. I think I've seen enough of you now, can you go away?}. I can ALSO say that curling your hair when you are bored, is much better than playing with sharp things when you are bored {thank you, experience. I hope I have learned my lesson. I doubt it, though}. ALSO: DON'T BE EVIL TO YOUR FRIENDS, THEY MIGHT BE EVIL BACK {Thank you, Hannah O. and Kendra. It's a very useful lesson.}

I have had a very...busy summer. VERY, VERY busy. Why, I moved out of our house, into a condo, out of the condo, into our friends house, into a condo, and back to our house. In one week. =D Yeah, that week was pretty busy. BUT, unfortunately...we didn't move. Half of me wishes we had, half of me is EVER SO glad that we didn't. So I'll listen to the happy side. {Sorry, Andrea.}

I also went to camp, which I must say was pretty {{coughlamecoughcough}}. Usually camp is great, but I went to a different camp this year, and it was probably the worst week I've had this year. 1. I actually learned nothing new that week. I'm used to camp being a very moving time, but it wasn't at this camp. 2. There was NOTHING fun to do. I'm so glad that Stephanie was there, or I probably would've died of boredom... we spent WAY too much time at the gym, which was the worst part of the whole camp. 3. The people there were very...how do I say this nicely? They were not conducting themselves as Christians. At all. I'm still very thankful for the time that was put into my week, but I must say, it wasn't worth paying to go there.

I had a great thanksgiving, what about you all? I slept in. ON A THURSDAY. I'm SO THANKFUL FOR BEING ABLE TO SLEEP IN!!!! :p After that, I ate mom's A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. cranberry coffee cake. {{dreamy sigh}} After that, I hung around, tried to help in the kitchen, succeeded for a while, and then took a few pics, which I shall try to share later. I also named the turkey Buckly, which fit him to a tee. [[RANDOM: "to a tee" WHAT. IN. THE. WORLD. IS. THAT. SUPPOSED. TO. MEAN??? Fitting a turkey in a golf ball tee doesn't really work...where did that phrase even come from? There's probably an alternative definition to "tee" that I'm unaware of. Let's see {{grabs dictionary}} "TEE 3 n. a mark aimed at in certain games, such as curling or quoits." Ummm.....I still don't see how that has anything to do with it...maybe since it's "aimed at" that kinda implies that it has to be perfect...IDK. Weird. END RANDOM]] ...turkey Buckley, which fit him to a tee. We made the pies and stuff the day before, so we didn't have as much to do. Then of course, we ate a lot, and then we cleaned up the kitchen, and sat around and did nothing. So basically, we had a pretty lame thanksgiving, compared to others in the past. But I'm still thankful. :p

And today, we set up the Christmas tree lights outside. Mom needs to sell a couple pieces of furniture, to make room for the tree, that's why we only did it outside. While I was holding the lights for Dad, he dropped a birds nest on my head. My nice curled hair. Oh, well. =P I ALSO conviced him to set up our outdoor manger scene!! He hardly ever sets it up, but then I told him it was a waste of money to buy it, and never use it, so he put it in our yard. =D

Besides that, there isn't any very exciting news. THAT wasn't even exciting. :P And you probably won't even get to see this anyway, but oh, well. I just wasted a bunch of time I could've used up by being utterly bored. :P So, I guess I'll bring this to a close. {PLEASE, PLEASE POST, BLOGGER! PLEASE?!{ BYE!! ~Lizzie

I'M HERE!! <----FoR GoOd!!!!

The camp fire was on Saturday. Today is Wednesday, and my hair still smells like smoke. Along with shampoo, 100% maple syrup, and cocoanut hand soap. Not so lovely. All of these smells alone are amazing, but together . . . not so much. = | I see another shower coming on . . .

I am also VERY frustrated with Seth's computer game. This is the 5th time I've done the 1st level, and it isn't saving it. GAH!!! If it doesn't save it this time, I don't think I will play it any more. And it's just now finally saying that it didn't install right. Thanks for the warning . . . two weeks later. So now I have to ask our tech support (aka, my sister, Emily) about it, cuz IDK if it needs to be reinstalled, and how to do it. (I'm so dumb about stuff like that . . . ).

Speaking of tech support, I wanted you all to know never to take your family for granted. My dad is out of town now, and weekend visits are like HEAVEN right now, and now my sister (who just got back from AZ) is now going to move in with him. *SIGH* I can't wait 'til we figure everything out, because it isn't really fun with half (ok, 1/3, but it feels like half) the family gone. And next thing I know my older sisters will be married. And I will probably have nephews and nieces before I even have a BF. Ok . . . so maybe not, but Seth will probably be an uncle by the time he's 15. Scarry though, eh? And then I might (maybe) go to college (hopefully) and be away from my entire family. I'm freaking myself out here . . . I think I'll stop. And anyway, I'm only 13, so I don't have to worry about it now. =P

I've also decided to get my blog going. I met my BFF (and several WONDERFUL friends) on my blog, and I rather miss that. So, I've decided to blog. This post will be put on my blog too ('Twas originally on Google Buzz). I want my blog to be more than just a bunch of tags too. =D I'm gonna do a weekly "about me" thing though, so the readers can get to know me. =D *smells hair* (<--- very bad habit of mine. People say that when you play with your hair in front of boys it's like flirting. Which makes it awkward on my part, because I feel like I'm flirting ever since I read that, because I always, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS am playing with my hair. But thankfully I hardly ever talk to boys. =D) (*Except for my neighbor. He's like 45 though, so that doesn't count.) How on EARTH did I get from my blog to my neighbor?! WOW.

So, now that you've heard all my ramblings (well, that is, if your ead all that. Which I doubt) I hope you are quite happy for the day. So I shall say I heaver to say good bye (That's my litle bro's version of "Auf Heidersain [no clue how that's spelled] , good bye" from Sound of Music) because I have nothing else to ramble about. Except pizza, but that get old sometimes . . .

But I don't like cooked green pepper, especially on my pizza. I like plain old pepperoni pizza, sometimes with other toppings, but certain brands are only good with pepperoni. =D We went to this one pizza place in uhhh . . . epic . . . eden . . . no, that's the camp I went to . . . evergreen . . . alpine . . . no, that's where my uncle lives . . . ESTES PARK!!! Yeah, there's this AWESOME pizza place there. It's like a pile of greezy cheese with supper, supper greesy pepperoni. YUMMY. <3 <3 <3 I <3 PIZZA.

Anyway, GOODBYE!!! ~Lizzie (P.S. I only like mushrooms on certain days. Especially Tuesday. )

Aweosme person of the day #4

@Stephanie Gipson The thing that I like most about you: You are willing to stand alone for what's right. I could NEVER be like you there. You are so straight forward, you just speak right up and tell the person that what they did was ungodly, and you tell them not to do it again. I appreciate that.
I also like the fact that you are not just trying to tell your friends what right and what's not, you practice it yourself! You are a lot more eager than me to change for the better, and to do what's right, even if it means a lot of sacrifice.
The trip to Leadville was SO MUCH FUN! We found what we have in common. All the things that almost make me freak myself out, I found out that you do it too! We REALLY need to go to Leadville again. *ENDS CONVERSATION* (@Hannah Stanley Are you following that?)
You *Hears the words pizza, for and supper used in the same sentence and then goes crazy* Ok, yeah, sorry about that. Anyway, you accept people, and make them feel welcome. When I was "the new girl" at WBC, you, Taylor *Cries*, and Natalie (sp?) made the perfect team and made me feel SO WELCOME. You were all so happy to be the lucky person to sit next to me, and to be the one to invite me to AWANA (Way back in the day. And I'm sure that wasn't anything about getting more points, was it? HAHA!!! OK, so maybe it was. Did u get the points, or did Taylor **CRIES**).
You are such an encouragement, and I feel that I can just talk to u whenever I want. I thank God that we go to meet eachother! <3 ya girl!!

POST!! YAY!!

Ok, I've had about 0 things to post about, so I started this thing on Google Buzz where I tell about my amazing friends, and Y I think they r so amazing. I do one EVERY DAY, and I'll post them here until I run out. Here are the 1st two.

NOTE: I am copying and pasting them directly from Google buzz without edidting them, so some of the format might be messed up. And at the end of my BLOG POSTS ONLY I will put links to their blog, their twitter username ect. IF THEY ALLOW

AMAZING FRIENDS, & Y THEY'RE SO AMAZING: 1st of all I want to say that there is no reason they are in the order they are in, 2nd, ALL my friends are TOTALLY amazing, these are just the highlights.
@Hannah Rachel Stanley You are THE. BEST. EVER. You are such an encouragement, you laugh with me, you cry with me. U tell me how dumb I am so I don't get to high on myself, I just want you to know U R SOOOOOO AWESOME!! Best ever, you listen to all my woes in life, and you UNDERSTAND instead of saying, "DUDE! I GOT PROBS OF MY OWN!!" Sometimes you don't even know that you are preventing me from going to my room and CRYING MY EYEBALLS OUT!!! I <33333 U!!!
I WOULD go on 2 the next one, but I' think I'll stretch it out over a few years, so u guys don't have to read the LONGEST post on EARTH.

Awesome person of the day #2: Elaine. I know u can't C this, which is Y I'm going to say some of the things I am. =D
You are the WEIRDEST friend I have EVER met. But you've shown to me that it IS ok to be strange, and sometimes that's what people can love the most about you.
We have SO many inside jokes, and half of them NEITHER of us really understand, but that's what make them SO FUNNY!!
You have taught me a great lesson in selfishness (she can't read this, or I wouldn't be saying this). Your family has so little money (I would elaborate on that, but y'all don't know her, so I shouldn't say), but you are always giving what you can. I feel SO selfish compared to you, because God has given me SO MUCH, and I'm keeping it all to myself.
Sometimes you make me mad, and sometimes I can't stand ur immaturity, but you're still an AMAZING friend, and whether you know it or not (prob not) I'm trying to work on you, and lead you as an older sister in Christ should, and I'm prob failing too, but I'm praying for God's help. <3 ya ZEBRA!!! (Inside joke)

It just so happens that I haven't been able to speak to either one about their blogs/twitter/what-ever-account-they-might-want-me-to-put-on-here, so I'll try to post them later if it's ok. =D

School, school, go away. And PLEASE don't come again.

So, lately I've been having to do school on Saturdays. Trust me people, that is not what you want to have to do. It's not fun. At all. So not fun that I'm at a loss of words. So, I'll post about something less depressing. (NOTE: This may not seem very funny to you, because you didn't see it. Try to picture it in your mind, that might help a little. It was funny for me though, because I saw the real thing.)
You know that feeling you get after scaring somebody really bad? It's a sense of accomplishment, happiness, and it's SO fun to see what they do! Sometimes you just feel that urge to do something to make you feel like this. And that's what I felt. The urge to play a trick on my ophiophobic (if that's the proper way of saying it. In other words, she's scared of snakes) sister.
Thank goodness for little brothers, and prize boxes for their accomplishments! My brother LOVES cowboys, and mom bought a toy snake for the prize box, so he could do cowboy-ish things with it. Now, this "box" as I have been calling it is right on top of the hutch on our computer desk, and the snake was there too. I knew that she wanted the computer that I was using, so I told her that I was done. What I DIDN'T tell her is that I put the toy snake on top of the computer mouse, which was hidden at that time. She came, and pulled out the keyboard/mouse thing that goes under the desk like a drawer (you all know what I'm talking about, right?) And said something to Seth, and grabbed the mouse, felt something there, that she hadn't seen before, and looked and . . . "AAAAHH!!! *NEARLY JUMPS OUT OF SKIN*" And I was trying not to laugh the whole time, it was HILARIOUS!! Of corse, nobody could help but laughing, it was so funny to see her reaction! She imediatly picked it up and threw it on the foose (sp?) ball table! But, I wasn't quite happy.....
This isn't as great, but it was still funny for me. Some of you know that I have a cat, a cat I don't want to have. She's demented. Retarded. Flat out stupid. She was napping. Imagine that. A cat, taking a nap. She was laying there, nobody else around. I couldn't resist. I clapped. As loud as I possibly could. You know how cats are aobut that, and how they are about it when you wake them up. You should have seen her face! It was somewhere between being scared half to death, a really tired look, and that kinda "I'm going to kill you" look cats can do. Of corse, between being scared and tired, she didn't kill me, in fact she spent most of the day in my room, which she hardly EVER does. =D
Anyway. I thought I would post, and that's all I had, so bye! ~Lizzie

NEVER leave me alone in a room with scissors. ESPECIALLY when I'm bored.

Yup. A bored, 12 year old girl, who is blonde at heart, left alone in a room with scissors is NOT a good idea. I know. My head hurts now too. =D You are probably wondering what on earth I did. Well, I'm not sure if I did it on earth . . . LOL. Ok so, here's the story.
I was alone, in my room, I was bored, and there were scissors (but I'm sure you've already gathered that much). I looked at the scissors and I thought . . . well, I didn't think. So, I grabbed the scissors and cut a little of my hair. Just a little. It was a week ago, and nobody has noticed it. It was right where my hair line starts on my head, and I grabbed it OH, about a half of a centimeter back, and about the same length wide. And I cut it, right below my eye. And then, I looked in the mirror, and THAT'S when I started too think. "Oh, look what I just did!" I thought, "Arg!!! I can't believe it! My dad HATES bangs that length, because they are always in your eyes. What should I do?!" And that is where I stopped thinking. Well, I must have thought something, but I was unaware of it at that time. I pulled it out. All of it. I ripped it out. It still hurts. And then I started ripping out more than I needed, because there were little black dots at the end of most of the hairs, and it was fun to pull them out. My bald spot still isn't noticeable, (thank goodness) but it hurts a lot. So, moral of the story. If you are bored, and alone, and you see a pair a scissors, RUN AWAY!!! That's all for now, I just thought I should post. =D Bye! ~Lizzie

Monday, February 1, 2010

Ok, so here's a post I tried to do on my old blog, but it wouldn't post it, so here it is now. It's a little out-dated, but I'll try to post again soon. One thing that isn't as out-dated was the part that said I 'm busy. =D

Hey guys, I've been so busy, I'm writing a story for Cadia magazine (I am trying to post about it, in fact, I did, but it won't show up, so I'm starting over), I'm doin' school, chatting with all my amazing friends, doing more school and going . . . GO ME! I almost forgot about the best day of the year so far! Well, on Sunday we went to Leadville, CO and had a quick bible study and tubed down a steep hill! SO MUCH FUN! It was a private property owned my the church, so we were the first people to go down it. I was 3rd. =D I haven't gone tubing since we move five years ago, so I had a blast. But it kinda brought on a new problem . . . perhaps I'll tell you about it . . . and maybe not. And I'm really mad, because I finished the post, and posted it, and it wouldn't post, and I lost all of it. Anyway, I had a great time, except for sharks, banana phones, cough drops stuck to the seat, flying carrots, finding out what a pizza roll really tastes like (not as good as they're made up to be), *throws up* (Mulan, U know what I'm talking about), **** **** **** ******* ** ** *** **** *** ** **** **** * ** * ****** **** *** * *** * **** * ***** ** *** (Yeah, so nobody ever will know about that, except I already told Hannah, but she never reads my blog), ***** ****** (maybe y'all will hear about that some time), Seeing T with a hurt arm, please pray that it Will heal.=( Well, I'll try to get caught up with everybody, and I got awarded a couple times, and I need to take care of that, and this annoying music is play in my ear. That was random. Well, I g2g do shcool! (Haha, insie joke). Bye! TTFN

Hello!

Hi! I'm Lizzie, from cococoathenut. I changed email addresses, and my old blog wasn't working, so I started over. =D Makes sense. =P
